"According to Our New Arrival" is a song sung by Two Bread Tom and then Marceline in "Everything Stays." The song is not an original written by Tom, but is part of the theme song from the TV series Mr. Belvedere. Mr. Belvedere is an American sitcom television series that ran for 6 seasons from 1985 to 1990.

Lyrics (as sung by Two-Bread Tom)

Streaks on the china,
never mattered before,
who cares.
When you dropped kicked your jacket
As you came through the door,
No one glared.
But sometimes things get turned around
And no one's spared.

Lyrics (as sung by Marceline)

But sometimes things get turned around
And no one's spared.
All hands look out below
There's a change in the status quo uo uo.
Gonna need all the help that we can get.
According to our new arrival
Life is more than mere survival
We just might live the good life yet.

Original Mr. Belvedere Lyrics

Streaks on the china,
never mattered before,
who cares.
When you dropped kicked your jacket
As you came through the door,
No one glared.
But sometimes things get turned around
And no one's spared.
But sometimes things get turned around
And no one's spared.
All hands look out below
There's a change in the status quo.
Gonna need all the help that we can get.
According to our new arrival
Life is more than mere survival
We just might live the good life yet.
