Introduced in "Still"
Butterflies (also known as Astral Beast) first appeared in "Still." They appeared after Finn entered the Astral Plane and beseeched the Astral Beast for its aid. Finn was disappointed when the Astral Beast came in the form of Butterflies, but Jake quickly showed him they were still helpful by using his mind to tell them to slap Finn. They helped Finn and Jake fly across their room after Ice King froze them with Freezing Potion A in attempt to make him give them Unfreezing Potion A.

TriviaEdit

  • In "Up a Tree," there were similar butterflies flying around while Finn was climbing up the tree but it had different orange colors rather than yellow.
