The Big Demon is a character in the episode, "Return to the Nightosphere." When Finn asks him how long he's been waiting in line to see the Teller, he starts crying. After Finn tells Jake to stretch to the front of the line, the Big Demon threatens to kill Finn and Jake.

He appears once again in "Daddy's Little Monster," as one of the demons in line to talk to Hunson Abadeer (Marceline, while under the effects of the nightosphere amulet). He is in line after the Ab Demon, who in turn was after a demon Hunson Abadeer called a "cowering speck." When Hunson Abadeer asks him to choose between pain, pleasure, and weird punishment, he chooses pain, apparently thinking it was a trick question and pain would yield a pleasurable response. Unsurprisingly, Hunson Abadeer fires a laser at him disintegrating half of his body. The Big Demon is then left similar to the Half Monster Demon; half his body is missing, and you can see his innards, but he seems to remain functional.
