D3 Publisher Inc. (株式会社ディースリー・パブリッシャー Kabushiki-gaisha D3 Paburisshā) is a Japanese video game publisher that published Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd you steal our garbage?!! and it's sequel, Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW! It was founded on February 5th, 1992, and the current president is Yuji Ito. The headquarters of the company is located in Tokyo, Japan. D3 Publisher is known for its "Simple" series of affordable games. They typically have the cost in the title, and are about half the price of a normal high-budget video game.
Between 2007 and 2014, they owned a smaller company known as Vicious Cycle Software. They have also published other licensed games such as Rise of the Guardians, Ben 10 Omniverse, Madagascar 3, The Croods, and Despicable Me for multiple consoles. After the bankruptcy of Midway, D3 Publisher took over publishing all of Cartoon Network's licensed games. However, in 2014, Cartoon Network dropped D3 Publisher in favor of Little Orbit, who has published all recent Cartoon Network games.
