The Desert of Wonder is a location that appears in the episode "James." It was a city before the Mushroom War occurred, but it is now a desert with some war debris left over. The Oozers managed to survive for around 1000 years here, or at least reproduced. While traveling through it, Jake remarks to Princess Bubblegum that there are a lot of cool things he would like to enjoy here, but she tells him that they are in the Desert of Wonders to collect samples only. Princess Bubblegum also tells Jake that she wants to colonize the location by the end of the year, though it is unlikely she will, due the events in the episode.
