In Goliad, Princess Bubblegum had stated that Goliad was Immortal. Yet also said she could be "Dissembled"
So, why not just dissemble Goliad while she's incapacitated? There are several ways Goliad could break free.
-The tower the two are eternally perched on, one day might crumble, causing the two to fall breaking their concentration/psychic link.
-A monster or villain who can distrupt or break psychic waves could come along and free Goliad for Evulz. Heck Magic Man could probably do that.
-Or the Lich (if he ever returns) possesses Goliad and breaks her free. That is probably the worst case scenario. "Goliad with The Lich's mind, totally unstoppable in every way"
-Or Goliad turns off her psychic powers breaking the stalemate. After all she is immortal and Stormo can't do anything to her anyway (Being evenly matched) except for another stalement, which Goliad can easily avoid the second time.
So Bubblegum has lots of time to un-make Goliad before some disaster happens. Which would be smart if she did...
