This is just a thought, after hearing the "PB = Betty" theories. In Mortal Recoil, she grows younger because they lacked the candy to make her 18, and in Too Young, grows older after adding candy. Wouldn't this imply that she can change her age at will?

In line with this, I'm thinking she created the whole candy kingdom. She's also shown to be able to create living things (Goliad, Lemongrab), so maybe she created the kingdom and all the candy inhabitants?

Dunno, just a thought.

No. In "Goliad" Princess Bubblegumstated that she would live forever if she could, but that science was not that advanced yet. This means that she is not immortal, as she would not desire immortality if she had already achieved it. As for the aging at will question, I don't know. That is an interesting thought, although I feel that it is much easier to make oneself older than it is to become younger. Just a thought, though. We really don't have evidence to support that claim. - Alchemical (talk) 06:16, October 20, 2012 (UTC)

Hmm, I just watched that scene again, and she does say before that line, "After my brush with death at the hands of the Lich, I realized something: I'm not going to live forever. I would if I could". I'm thinking it's a little weird for someone her age to be worried about death specifically by age; I think maybe she was referring to the fact that she can die if someone destroyed her body, and not necessarily by age. Who the poop knows. Also, I just realized that right after this line about how science just isn't there yet, she introduces Goliad who can live forever according to her :P Nonukez (talk) 03:02, October 21, 2012 (UTC)

From my view Princess Bubblegum has been aging since the end of Season 2. I am unsure if it her style of dress in Season 3 that is giving it that appearance.
She can clearly regenerate like any other Candy person, but she seems different from the rest as she is humanoid based. It is already known that Candy people can die, but they can also be reanimated. Though if that works with PB it is uncertain. -- Bunai82 (talk) 04:44, October 21, 2012 (UTC)

Actually, PB has a loyal servant - Peppermint Butler - who is a good friend of Death. We cannot say for sure that this guarantees her immortality, but we can assume that she has the possibility to at least postpone her demise. --Undead Auron24 (talk) 20:09, October 23, 2012 (UTC)

I was just rewatching season 4 of AT (instead of studying for midterms), and "Princess Cookie" is a bit peculiar. Well, this would all hinge on just how old Princess Cookie was in present time in the episode, and how old he was when he was in child care, but still, there's gotta be at least a few years no? Anyway, in Baby-Snaps's flashback, PB looks EXACTLY the same as her in the present. Yes, it's a cartoon, but shouldn't she have shown some signs of age? If she's 18 now, she would've been at least 16, possibly younger, when Baby-Snaps is a little kid. ...Damn, I just realized someone already pointed this out before in a different thread, but whatever, it still fits here. She doesn't age! Nonukez (talk) 22:37, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

This was the very first thing I ever discussed when entering the wiki, because of "Princess Cookie".

I think PB does not age. I think she could be a lot older than we know. However, she is still physically vulnerable, and that's what she's talking about in "Goliad". Icanhascheezeburger (talk) 23:02, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

not sure we are always getting the full truth from trustworthy PB[]

When PB makes her mortality statement in Goliad, she was without sleep, what a huge lack of judgement to let( love them but...) Finn and Jake teach her,Goliad, about leadership. She seems to know lots but knows little at the same time. She is super young and super old at the same time. Grass princess (talk) 17:58, November 17, 2012 (UTC)GP

Hey, so old thread (I'm the OP), but the last few episodes pretty much confirm this, no? How she looked the same when FP was born, and how she looked the same when Shoko was around.

YUSSSSSSSSSSSS I WINRAR!!! Predicted this shiz a year ago! Nonukez (talk) 06:04, September 17, 2013 (UTC)

Another hint towards imortality is the pink goo that gives Simon the chicken soup in "Simon and Marcy". I cant help but think that the goo has to be Bubblegum in her "early stages".

Hey yeah I suspected PB wasn't being too truthful about her age since the episode "Princess Cookie" and finally someone else noticed that!  So yeah, it's official, PB is like a bazillion years old.  What the heck?

I don't think we can say if Princess Bubblegum is immortal, or just long-lived. Look at the other candy people.Peppermint Butler was alive before Shoko died and he is still fairly young. Then there is Mr. Creampuff, was older than Peppermint Butler and died during Finn and Jake's life time. This suggests that candy people,  by nature, are long lived. Also, in "Goliad" Princess Bubblegum stated that she wasn't immortal, but desires to be. This, once more, suggests longevity in place of immortality. For all we know, she could be using her advanced scientific knowledge to extend her life, which is basically what people do today. - Alchemical (talk) 17:10, September 21, 2013 (UTC)

Gum lasts a really long time and Bonni is made out of gum, that coupled with her immortality potion she made for Candy People she could now be immortal whereas before she was just living really long because she is made out of gum.
