  • To vote, simply post *{{Support}} and sign with ~~~~ under the answer you are supporting. You can always change it at anytime, until the end date by using the {{Unvote}} template.
  • To vote against an answer, simply post *{{Oppose}} and sign with ~~~~ under the it to symbolize your opposition. When voting against an answer it is recommended you post a short description of why. You can always change it at anytime, until the end date by using the {{Unvote}} template.
  • If you would like to give a new option or even just make a little comment that is neither for nor against what you are commenting on, use the *{{Neutral}} tag before it.
  • An example of unvoting in use would be *{{Unvote|{{Support}}}}. This shows up as Support Support.
  • Votes made by users not logged in (including regular anons) will not be counted.
  • Voting ends once four days pass and there have been no new votes (except during ties).
    • Unless five days pass and the vote is unanimous, then the vote ends.
  • If the available options to vote for are not what you want, go ahead and add another option and vote for it.

I would like to suggest that we add the following to the Manual of Style:

  1. The use of American style quotation. We already use American spelling and there seems to be an unwritten agreement that American style is used for punctuation in quotations. American style simply means that commas and periods are put inside the quotation (see above links). For the sake of consistency, it would be nice to have an official stance on this.
  2. Use of "perpetual present tense": articles should be written in the present tense. Wikipedia suggests that fiction should written about in present tense because, "Works of fiction are generally considered to "come alive" when read. They exist in a kind of perpetual present tense, regardless of when the fictional action is supposed to take place relative to "now." Thus, generally you should write about fiction using the present tense, not the past tense" (source).

  • Oppose Oppose — I disagree, the entirety of Adventure Time is an travel, something to experience. Things that have already happened have already happened, they aren't going to continue happening over and over again. File:Gotta Kill 'Em All!. ƒelinoel_User Page 16:31, August 7, 2012 (UTC)
FPF and Blugo34 - Um... that doesn't make much sense given that you put "support". Also, please explain why you disagree as Felinoel did.  EvergreenFir  17:11, August 7, 2012 (UTC)
I think they were just being silly. File:Gotta Kill 'Em All!. ƒelinoel_User Page 17:13, August 7, 2012 (UTC)

Support Support — I fully support your first suggestion. However, I have some questions about your second suggestion. When refering to a specific event in a specific episode, will the article read, "Finn attacked/thought this," or "Finn attacks/thinks this?" I think that when refering to a specific event, past tense may be the better choice. - Alchemical (talk) 03:47, October 12, 2012 (UTC)

Oppose Oppose — on the first addition: American punctuation is artefactual of typewriters and corrupts the quoted text. The marks usually do not belong to it. When episode titles are quoted how can you readily tell whether there was a mark in them or not? Alysdexia (talk) 05:59, August 19, 2014 (UTC)
