Synopsis[]
The current character category system includes only major and minor characters. The discussion in this forum post is related to the addition of new character categories and their proposed definitions. Because the discussion on this topic has been going on for more than a year and apparently tends to die easily, a vote on the implementation of an improved but not perfect system seems most effective at actually moving somewhere with this.

I'm going to go ahead and bump this seeing as nobody seems to be saying anything. I'll admit I don't know how to set this up myself currently, but if no administrator is willing to make a change that has been unanimously voted in favor of sometime in the near future then I guess I will have to figure it out myself.
