Gum People are recurring candy people in Adventure Time. Candy is one of the four main elements that make up the world and is opposed by slime like fire and ice oppose each other. Candy appears to naturally form as people in the form of bubblegum. The Mother Gum, a collection of blob-like bubblegum creatures that mutated into bubblegum beings, spawned the currently living, known bubblegum people, Princess Bubblegum and Neddy who is a bubblegum dragon.
Chatsberry was an ancient candy elemental whose origin is currently unknown.
