Adventure Time Fionna and Cake Song Original Demo(00:59)

"Oh, Fionna" is a song that "Prince Gumball" (actually Ice Queen in disguise) sings to Fionna in "Fionna and Cake." It is sung while they fly through the air on Lord Monochromicorn and is accompanied by Cake playing her dulcimer.

Lyrics

I feel like nothing was real until I met you.
I feel like we connect, and I really get you.
If I said, "You're a beautiful girl," would it upset you?
Because the way you look tonight, silhouetted, I'll never forget it.
Oh, Oh, Fionna.
Your fist has touched my heart.
Oh, Oh, Fionna.
I won't let anything in this world keep us apart.
"Prince Gumball" and Fionna: I won't let anything in this world keep us apart.

Trivia

  • Rebecca Sugar wrote the song with the help of Ian Jones-Quartey. It was partly inspired by "Whole New World," and "the Romani Ranch aliens from Majora's Mask."[1]
    • Rebecca said on her blog: "I want to thank Ian Jones-Quartey who helped me write this song, he suggested 'You punched me in the heart,' which I pretty much used."
