Roddy Piper was a Canadian retired professional wrestler, film actor, and podcast host signed to WWE. He voiced himself on Cartoon Network's Robot Chicken and provided the voices of The Pyro Messiah in the Night Traveler and Bolphunga in Green Lantern: Emerald Knights. He appeared as himself in the 2013 video game Saints Row IV in a parody of They Live alongside his co-star Keith David, the voice of Flame King.
He provided the voice of Don John in the Adventure Time episode "The Red Throne."
Piper died on July 31, 2015 of cardiac arrest, and was honored on the next Monday Night Raw. As a result, Don John was noticeably absent from the lantern in "Bun Bun".
