The Shadow Horse (or Shadow Steed), so far, makes its first and only appearance in "Wizard." Finn created it from his shadow using shadowcery. He then attempted to ride on it, but he passed right through the horse. Shadow Horse dissolves shortly after saying "No touchies!" He makes sounds like a normal horse and speaks English. The shadow steed in also he seems to be in one Adventure Time commercial saying his quote. He also seems to have a similar physical appearance to Lord Monochromicorn.
