I think that it isn't the type of jealousy we interpret. It says that she 'may' be jealous, not she 'is' jealous, so the people are not sure themselves OR the preview is misleading. Last time we saw FlamePrincess, she had it in her head that she couldn't be with Finn. So for them to backtrack on that within two minutes of an episode would be a ridiculous thing to ask for. I think he's just hanging out with her as buds. Nothing stopping that.

And if this is the case, it's more likely a friendship jealousy, as in when someone is jealous that their best friend has stopped hanging out with them for someone else, whether that be romantic interest or otherwise. I don't think that her relationship with Finn will ever be more than platonic on her part and I would be disappointed if it did. Cheezburger 03:30, July 10, 2012 (UTC)

New Preview? Edit

There was another preview today and it showed Jake making bacon pancakes when bubblegum walks in. Bubble gum wants to know where Flame princess is, but Jake snaps at her, saying "Do you know how much he's cried over you? You're sick!" while throwing the pancake mix box. PB then says "This isn't about some petty love triangle!"

Could this mean that it isn't really romantic jealousy, but some other sort of problem? Like a conflict between kingdoms or something similar? I think they're are five options at this point:

• Friendship jealousy

• PB is jealous romantically but is in denial

• The flame kingdom could have some problem with the Candy kingdom

• FP and PB had a bad past/ PB thinks FP is evil and she's trying to protect finn

• There could be some unforseen problem with their relationship PB is trying to warn finn about.

• She admires finn as 'her hero' or knight and is jealous he's spending time with another princess.

At this point, with that new preview, I think those are the possibilities that could work.

What makes you think this won't have adventurey-type elements? Go With Me had wolves and a vampire. Burning Low already has a princess made of fire, and there's probably some stuff we're not seeing because we haven't seen the episode. And if it really is just a bunch of drama, it's one in a season of 26. If I were making 26 cartoons about 26 different adventures, I think I'd want to spend a few of them exploring relationships, maybe even a total soap opera because soap operas are cool. Then I'd spend the rest of the season saving the Goblin Kingdom with giant robots, whacking spiders with trees, escaping the Nightosphere twice, psychic-battling a sphynx, fighting spirits and shadows, protecting hostages, running from the police, visiting Mars, and 12 other things that we still know absolutely nothing about.

Flame Princess not feeling pain when her fire is put out Edit

Flame Princess not feeling pain when her fire is put out could be less of an error, and more of a learning-to-tolerate-the-pain-to-be-with-each-other thing.

It is shown that Finn has been learning to deal with being burned, so it's possible that FP has been doing the same about her fires being put out. So, her flame being put out may very well have caused her some amount of pain or discomfort, but she may either be hiding it or tolerating it.

There is also a chance that she didn't feel that small amount of fire being put out. It is probable that by living in the Fire Kingdom all her life (which can be assumed by her not understanding that flowers burn and that water hurts her in "Hot To The Touch," meaning she never encountered those things before) she has never even had her fires put out before. If that's true, it may be like having sensitive skin; at first, everything it encounters is uncomfortable and even hurts, but it slowly your skin builds up a tolerance for being touched.108.34.170.222 13:32, July 29, 2012 (UTC)

If you look at the images when the camera is zoomed out Jake has 15 tiers in his arm, but when the camera zooms in and he's explaining tiers 1, 2, 5 and 8 he only has 10 tiers. It's an animation error. Lailokentheyeti (talk) 22:47, July 31, 2012 (UTC)

You can also see the animation errors by the size of the "tiers" accross Finn's aluminum-covered body. Feel sad Edit

What have I done?

All my fault that I saw in the episode of Burning Low. I ruin in love of Finn and Princess Bubblegum.

But in the next episode we must be people like Finn and Princess Bubblegum love interest as normal and Finn is hero again now!

Hidden Date Edit

I added information in the Trivia section about the hidden date (August 18, 2012) in PB's diary and the possible reason for it. I get that my conclusion was speculative, so I won't bother trying to add it back in, but I wanted to put the info I found in here just in case.

August 18, 2012 is the start date of an Adventure Time Tribute at the Nucleus Art Gallery in Alhambra, CA. This gallery and Frederator Studios in Burbank, CA are relatively close to each other, so I wouldn't be surprised if the date was a nod to the event. I couldn't find any other major significance for this date, but, to be fair, it could easily be something personal to the animators (e.g. a friend's birthday). The only person that really fits that gag is LSP. Magic Man was exiled and we have no idea what's going on with Flame Princess yet (for example, her new house could just be a place for her to stay while on dates with Finn, so she doesn't burn everything around her). No Random unnecesary information! Edit

As soon as this episode was over, I knew all the super fans and I mean SUPER fans would come of the woodwork and be fascinated by Finn and Flame Princesses relationship. A flood of random nonsense can come out of any tv relationship, and for some reason it demands more. I wonder why some people keep thinking about stuff like this, and the evidence is the somewhat useless information in trivia section about the romance. The trivia is for interesting facts, not dull and unimportant info like the amount of time of a kiss. But maybe like Stan Marsh and Wendy Testaburger, people will just be who they are.

Agreed. There are a lot of uninteresting, speculative and even false bits of information put into the Trivia sections of a lot of pages on this wiki, not just for Burning Low. Sadly, most of the people who do this are probably not the type to look at the talk page (except maybe to write more inane stuff). The best we can do is just keep cleaning up the junk. Errors Fail Edit

Some of the errors aren't errors

When jake took the pan off the stove the fire was larger because the pan was covering it up before, and when he took it off the fire wasn't covered up, just like in real life

Also, It is Tower, not touer, with such small letters it's not visible

These are supposed to be errors, and not what the author sees or not

The fire error is not about the size of the fire, it's about the location. It moves from the front-right (from Jake's PoV) to the front-left.
