The Townspeople appear in the episode "His Hero." They are the poor inhabitants of the unnamed town who eat Finn and Jake's gruel while Finn and Jake are trying to help people nonviolently. However, Finn added a Stoneskin Potion to the gruel, thinking that it would help the townspeople defend themselves. They are upset after growing stone armor, and one individual was especially freaked out when his bellybutton started shooting fire. The armor resembles cobblestone.

One of the townspeople who appeared in "His Hero" also appeared briefly in "The Eyes" when being saved from a dragon by Finn and Jake. This encounter was similar to the first encounter with the Cobbler when Finn and Jake were first trying nonviolent methods after being convinced by Billy to try it.
