The tree is a giant tree that was featured in "Up a Tree." In the episode, Finn accidentally throws his disc on top of the tree and meets a variety of animals on his way there. Inside the tree, there is a room the animals go to for meetings, and in that room is a pile of various objects and items that most likely got stuck in the tree at one point.
The tree's inhabitants are part of a mysterious cult that seeks to make everyone who enters the tree a part of it, unable to leave. The Tree was further mentioned and pictured in a flashback, in the episode "Cake the Cat", which happens decades after he escaped from the tree with the help of Finn in the original episode. The Squirrel was talking with Cake about how restricted was his life with his roommates in the tree. In the same aforementioned episode, he was later attacked by the tree's group, in a kidnapping attempt organized by The Owl, but then saved by Cake.
