Hi there! This blog might be my longest blog post ever. Okay. Some users know about my dream, becoming a Zombologist (YES. THAT STUDY IS REAL. LOOK IT UP). So I bought a journal, and studied harder about the different kinds of zombies, wrote and sketched my ideas, and all my hardwork is written here:
ZOMBIE INFECTION STAGE:
Stage 1. Infection.
Stage 2. Intense pain at site of injury.
Stage 3. Fever.
Stage 4. Numbness/loss of function.
Stage 5. Vision Inpainment.
Stage 6. Memory loss/detoriation of brain capacity.
Stage 7. Loss of consciousness
Stage 8. Death
Stage 9. REANIMATION.
DEFENSE AGAINST THE UNDEAD: RULES FOR SURVIVING
- Keep in good shape
- Do not hesitate
- Keep a level head
- Do not advertise your whereabouts.
- Always have a weapon in hand.
- Plan ahead.
- Destroy the brain
- Avoid densely populated areas.
- Keep radio contact.
- Be wary of the Living.
WHY IS THAT I PICKED ZOMBOLOGY?
Why Zombology, You ask? Well, I am fascinated on how some myths about zombies spread throughout the globe like how peanut butter spreads around a loaf of bread. Most importantly, I am surprised and amazed on how "Dark Magic" brings corpses back to life.
And did you know that there are different types of zombies? Mummies are considered to be in the Voodoo family, since Ancient Egyptians put curses on the tombs of ones who died.
My only favorite kind of zombie is the Biological Zombie (Zumbus Biologicus). It is a type of zombie that forms from a kind of poisonous virus that manipulate the brain capacity. :)
HOW VIRUSES SPREAD TO THE BODY (MY OWN THEORY)
Once the virus starts spreading throughout the blood vessels, it attacks the red blood cells until the virus reaches to it's target: the brain.
The virus attacks the brain cells and also manipulate it, thus triggering death. After a while, you loose your memories of your previous life. Your brain then loses control of your internal organs and the brain will eventually shut down. (Reanimation takes time to fully complete)
After sometime, your brain stem (the only part of your body that functions after the reanimation) starts to function and triggers you to transform into a lifeless monster, the one that we call a "zombie" today.
The virus makes you hunger for flesh, and forces you to transfer the disease by biting another person.
There you have it, folks. My OWN explaination and understanding of a zombie apocalypse. I have one question for you, the reader:
ARE YOU PREPEARED FOR A ZOMBIE APOCLYPSE?
