Greetings fellow readers,
Another season, another new blog, and because Season 5 is pretty long, I'll be spliting the blog posts about them into 2 volumes of 26 episodes
And now here's Doug's Vlog on Finn The Human
And his vlog on Jake The Dog
He didn't like Finn The Human (the episode) very much, but he thought Jake The Dog (the episode) was much better, however, he still considers it disappointing as a season primiere considering how much was bulit up from the season finale. I kinda share that sentiment as well.
Ironic, I'm updating this as soon as Season 6 primieres, which I am recording because I got to go to class when it primieres.
Anyways, let's see how Doug takes in this very long season.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Five More Short Graybles
He found it funny and it was welcoming something calm came after 4 heavy episodes.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Up A Tree
Of course he was joking about how epic the episode was at the beginning of the vlog, but overall he found to be a DWOT (Delightful Waste Of Time). Then they talk about other stuff that's awesome so check it out.
Here's Doug's Vlog on All The Little People
This is one of his favorite episodes, he loves episodes where characters play God, and thinks this was unique enough to separate from an idea that's been done a million times. Also the documentary he was talking is actually called Life 2.0, it's a documentary about people obsessed with Second Life, I've never seen it before, but now I'm interested, and so should you.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Jake The Dad
He didn't like the ending, but other than that, he found it to be cute and sweet.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Davey
He found it to be a fun episode.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Mystery Dungeon
He found it hilarious, and I find that statement to be (in Lemongrab voice): "Acceptable!"
Here's Doug's Vlog on All Your Fault
He liked this episode, but he also found it creepy and unsetting, he understands that's the point, but it still doesn't remove that feel.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Little Dude
He calls it a serviceable episode.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Bad Little Boy
Oh you can just hear the fangirls...
Anyways he finds it okay, but wanted the episode to be about Fionna and Cake on a big adventure. I share his sentiments, I liked it, but it was basically a rehash of the last Fionna and Cake episode with some changes.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Vault of Bones
He really liked this episode, he like all the nods there were to gaming, and he really like how Finn and Flame Princess' relationship was handled.
Not sure how he'll feel about how they handle this in later episodes.
Here's Doug's Vlog on The Great Bird Man
He liked it, but he pretty much knew what was gonna happen since he has seen this has the villain really reformed or not plot a lot of times before.
And yes, as one of the commenters already pointed out, Simon and Marcy is next. PREPARE FOR FEELS!
Here's Doug's Vlog on Simon & Marcy
He EMPHASIZED this episode is fine, but was expecting the story to be a lot more different from other apocalypse themed stories.
There's gonna be a lot of hate comments regardless isn't there?
Here's Doug's Vlog on A Glitch is A Glitch
Well now there's gonna be a lot of hate comments.
He said that it was a good idea, but he didn't like this episode. He found the visuals to be very annoying and thought it tried too hard for a show that was already enjoyably wierd.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Puhoy
He loved this episode, this is what he thinks A Glitch is A Glitch should have been, visually interesting and actually meaningful in a sort of way.
Here's Doug's Vlog on BMO Lost
I may not have fallen for BMO's charm, but anything that has the LeVar Burton in it is awesome in my book.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Princess Potluck
He thinks it's fun and totally fine, which is totally fine.
Here's Doug's Vlog on James Baxter The Horse
Yeah, he said it was a feel good episode, which it pretty much is. Also this vlog has the best segway.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Shh!
Yes they're speaking here (excapt for Jori), yes it doesn't go with the episode, but how else were they gonna takl about the episode?
He found it fun. Go see the vlog, cause they talk about lots of interesting stuff.
Here's Doug's Vlog on The Suitor
Yeah, found it fun. And he does talk about some of the things brought up in this episode so check out the vlog.
Here's Doug's Vlog on The Party's Over: Isla de Sonorita
Doug liked it, Jason not so much, in the end, there isn't a lot to this episode.
Anyways, what do you guys think: Is Ice King always trying to kidnap princesses part of the endless tragedy, or is it kind of grating?
Also let's get Doug onto an episode of Adventure Time!
Here's Doug's Vlog on One Last Job
Yeah a fun heist episode.
Also (I know I said this before but I'll say it again), let's get Doug onto an episode of Adventure Time.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Another Five More Short Graybles
1. His name is Cuber
2. The theme was the 5 stages of grief
3. Okay maybe when I first saw it I was a bit harsh, not everything is completely moronic, but I still don't like it.
Also in one of those links is Doug's Re-review of A Glitch Is A Glitch, here's a separate link to it:
Here's Doug's Vlog on Candy Streets
They found this episode okay.
PS: Bawk Bawk, Bawk Bawk, Bawk Bawk, I love that sketch from Robot Chicken.
Here's Doug's Vlog on Wizards Only, Fools!
You all really need to watch this, this is one of his longest vlogs for good reason, it's not so much about the episode itself, but about the whole argument about believing in religions or not believing in them and the extremes and what not, and he and Jason have a whole conversation about it and handled it.......... so much better than this episode every tried to do.
I still really hate this episode, yes I know the "themes", but I just found it to be so stupid at how it was handled.
I don't want to spend anymore time ranting about it and just gonna say that this ends this blog, next episode there will be a new blog.
