Help me!! I've been violated by a user who edited my profile and put something saying that I was taking over Adventure Time Wiki with unrelated pony pictures and also said that I should be warned by a moderator.
I mean waht the jug? Who would say such a thing? I mean....is there a problem with me posting FiM photos on the wiki? I'm just a fangirl of FiM! Is there also a problem with me being obsessed with FiM?

Hi SaberSworn, it's Jessie1010. You know me, right? I understand why you resigned. That is why I thought about leaving in the first place. It kinda scares me. But after I looked into some things, I've noticed that the show isn't about that. It's the mystery. From what I know, it's the town not the show. You banned me for 1000 years from chat and gave as a reason: "Swearing. Been banned multiple times before" ... Now I don't know about you and counting, but last time I checked, I was only given ONE ban, and that was by you. You banned me in May once after I unsulted you in PM, which you totally had coming btw for acting like you're some sort of dictator. Tavis unbanned me like two days after that, you banned me again almost immediately saying I was "supposed to be banned." Then you had a conversation with some people and you unbanned me three hours later. I doubt that still counts as a "legit ban." July 19, you banned me forever, saying that I have been "banned multiple times before." As you can see, that's a lie. I've been banned multiple times BY YOU, and besides you, nobody even thought it was justified so the ban was lifted.
I don't know about your "natural sequence of banning," but even a mentally challenged toddler can see that my ban log is hardly an example of the "natural sequence of banning." Usually when you first ban someone, you ban them for one hour or a day, then later a week. First time you banned ME, however, I got one month. Bet it's TOTALLY NOT PERSONAL, right? The new system of banning didn't keep track of older bans (you won't be able to see this, because you don't have permission to. Only admins/mods can see it). So the first 2 bans you had aren't logged in the new chat ban log. The third ban was the month-long one that Tavis got you out of. This is the fourth ban you've had, and considering your record and your unwillingness to follow the rules, there's no need to give you any further chances. We've banned people infinitely for 4th offenses several times. If we decide to unban you, I will have no choice but to unban all those other people too. It's only fair.
Saber, I remember when you banned LGP for telling a homophobe that she wants his family to die, when said homophobe kept returning to her talk page and was never banned for hatespeech and caused all the trouble in the first place.
You banned me from chat for "swearing" when as soon as I'd left there were people insulting me and slagging me off behind my back and you didn't do anything about them so why should you ban Maira for insulting YOU? Because it's YOU? So no, that "previous ban," like Maira said, does not count as a ban because you are inconsistent with your banning reasons.
You saw to it that VQO was demoted for "not being in chat" when she was on there ALL THE TIME, but when you were asleep because it was a different timezone and that was why she was promoted in the first place, but the other day in chat (just before you banned me) there was a SPAM ATTACK and YOU were the only mod there and YOU did NOTHING because YOU were AFK. I had to beg Sky Monster to come online and get rid of them.
So don't be such a hypocrite, SaberSworn. An infinite ban is ridiculous in this situation.
Oh yes, I just had to edit this because it shows you've responded. Well, notice how all four of those bans were issued by yours truly? Who knows that they are fair? It shouldn't be one person's decision to permaban a user.
You should judge each individual case by itself. Not every user is the same. Not every situation is the same. You can do everything "by the book" but "the book" does not cover every single situation, hard as that may be for you to get through your thick head. At least one of your bans was lifted and no longer counts as a result. And since I have no permission to see the old logs, who is to say you aren't just photoshopping the logs? Can you disproof that? SaberSworn, do you have an Idea on how much users hate you but are afraid to say it? I guess you would ban them anyways, for having opinions and delete the posts, because otherwise you'd have a bad reputation
Marcaline, I think you're a cool person and a great user, and the same to you Icanhascheezeburger. However, Saber is quite justified in his actions here. I have never seen him ban a user without warning and kicking them first. He simply keeps track of warnings and kicks that have happened in the past - the result is that you don't get to break the rules to the verge of being banned once a day. That's perfectly logical from what I can tell. If there were a bot moderating chat, the result would be exactly the same. You are basically getting mad at a robot here - you know exactly what will happen if the behavior continues, and yet get frustrated with him for having the conviction to act according to principle. If you're going to call him a douche, you need to realize that he is a user just like anyone else and regardless of how he feels about the insult that is a violation of the code of conduct. You can not complain about how he is enforcing the rules when you are perfectly aware that you are continuously violating them. I hate to be arguing against you guys about this, but according to our current rules you are in the wrong.
To my point: The rules themselves are flawed. A permanent ban for multiple minor infractions is a bit ridiculous. The ban that was considered for something that happened in a private message is something that wouldn't be a factor now and therefore should not be considered as a legitimate offense on your account. I can see an appeal being made and accepted on the latter account, and honestly I think the chat system in general should have a new method of rule enforcement. I completely agree with Saber's method of enforcement, to be clear. It is not arbitrary in any way, and I think that is ideal. However, other people clearly do not agree, so I guess even if it is fair the system is broken and should be changed. I don't know how this is apparently so unclear, but Saber is actually doing chat a huge service here. A lot of people don't like cussing. Nobody wants to be insulted. Why would allowing minor rulebreaks make any sense at all? It's not like he enjoys enforcing the rules (whether or not you believe me when I say this I will not worry about, but I guarantee it is true).
My thoughts? Maybe infinite bans from chat are only for extreme continued offenses. If minor rule breaks happen every time you get on chat and you get banned for a week every time, that might be a better correction method.
I'm going to tell a short story about how chat has changed, at the risk of making Sparda494 look bad. A week or so into joining chat, I was talking to Doomrider-HS in main chat while Lollipop King and Sparda494 and Marshall Lee were all chatting as well. Lollipop King decided to start telling a story (involving the usual poor grammar and inappropriate vocabulary. Read: Lollipop King) and Sparda and Marshall decided to start PMing one another to ignore it, while suggesting that Lollipop King continue because the story was "so good." Eventually, Doom and I were told to stop talking in main chat so that Lollipop's story would not be interrupted. We had to go to private messages so a user could have main chat all to himself to tell a story that was clearly in violation of the rules. Decent users were set aside for the sole purpose of avoiding a commotion. Lollipop King was actually in chat for a long time while consistently breaking the rules, and consistently being warned, and consistently not being banned. Why? Because nobody wanted to enforce the rules. That would not happen with Saber around. You complain that there is a lot of spam and insults and such, but maybe you have lost yourself. Chat has been significantly better kept (in terms of fairness) since he starting keeping track of it. And you hate him. He did not make the rules. Nobody has even tried to change them. All anybody seems to want to do is complain about them without suggesting how to improve.
That's my rant. Sorry if it isn't what you want to hear, but looking at the evidence I'm seeing very little bias from Saber's perspective. If you can prove me wrong, feel free to do so. FlamePrinceFinn 12:07, August 11, 2012 (UTC)

After not using my account for a month, I have come back and found this wiki in terrible shape. This has nothing to do with the pages. I am talking about the blogs (the more popular ones). These blogs are not the problem. It is the amount of hate posted in nearly every single comment. I thought this was supposed to be a more friendly wiki about a television show, but not with these types of users running around and letting other users down. The one I see most appearing is Icanhascheezburger, who seems to be some sort of critic. I've seen this guy curse on several of those blogs, and I quote that in one, he said, "Well, take your little trolling tactics which 'clearly display your superior intelligence' and shove them up your ass." These things also seem to be getting out of hand, as other users have posted photos taunting others, which will appear on the wiki's gallery. I will not do anything on this site until these problems have been solved.

Hi, this is True Sephiroth, and of course I should be known by now. I have been contributing throughout this year since February, and have been a WC long before reregistering for wikia back in February. I am writing this talk page message to you as a formal complaint towards a recently promoted maintenance administrator (MA): Blugo34. In this complaint, I will detail some of the negative behaviors that have been displayed by this MA over the course of the last few days and some of his actions throughout the last month going back to early August. Links provided within the message will direct you to talk pages, images on the wiki for comparison, or other comparisons that I complied for you.
The situation began when he asked me how to make an image transparent, and how to make the images he uploads as good as mine. Kind as I was, I share how to do it with anyone who asks. I then told him how to get modelsheets off the Frederator flikr account and how to get the images at their best size. He soon started showing descent contributions and I supported him being made a rollbacker for the wiki, since a lot of his contributions were to pages and reverting vandalism. I then took a leave of absence from the wiki for personal reasons. Over the course of the month, a friend of mine told me he was replacing practically every image I uploaded and only mine. I didn’t think much, because I’ll admit that a few of my earlier images I didn’t get around to updating to HQ. I brushed it off and thought that he was just replacing some of my older images, which did needed to be replaced.
September comes around and I was bombarded by a good portion of my page image uploads being replaced and/or deleted. The images themselves ranged from poorly edited to ridiculously oversized images. A few are simple reuploads of the same exact image. I went through all of the images and I made some reversions to some that didn't need what Blugo34 called "Updating" when all it was is a massively resized image. Naturally, I fixed what I could do for now, and reuploaded brand new images for some using my new editing method that Blugo34 also uses. I then proceeded and wrote a talk page for Blugo34 stating what I saw and what he should do in the future. I explained the importance of dimensions and file size, and went into how large file sizes are a nightmare for slower internet users. After expressing this with him, he then proceeded to reupload all of the images that I just reverted or uploaded with the his same images that he provided; though, he reuploaded his images mimicking the file dimensions of the last upload for absolutely no reason whatsoever. He not only did this to me, but to other users as well such as Sky Monster and Lailoken. Note: The file Ugly Monster has further history that was deleted from a name change. Said image was also fine and reuploaded for no reason. Even videos are not safe from his edit boosting

The same day on the 12th of September, Blugo 34 started a private message with me on the chat. It began how he felt I was rude and escalated with him outright insulting me to the point he that he tarnished his reputation towards me forever.

He made zero attempt to explain himself other than to tell me that my images were "very grotesque and bad edited." He then exclaimed "I am making this wiki better not grotesque images and bad edited crap." He continued to insult the way I work with images and how images I previously uploaded were terrible and making the wiki worse. It was not befitting a Maintenance Admin nor does it support what this wiki is about. By doing this, he is causing more harm with his written verbal abuse and his very rude and obnoxious attitude.
I then noticed another trend from his uploads. I noted that Blugo is trying to keep his name as the soul contributor to an image based how he reuploads an image that was fine to begin with. I also believe he is attempting to boost his edits with so many reuploads for images that need no update. The shear amount of his "updates" to images that do not need to be replaced is evident on that. As for the claim he is trying to control who has contributed can be seen on the deletion log. At 8:58 am this morning, Blugo uploaded several backgrounds from Evicted! Two of the images, were already available at the highest quality available. He then proceeded to delete the duplicates to replace them with his own at 9am.
Other instances also include history on images being deleted that wasn't uploaded by him. Check, and the history on these files are gone from the file. For instance, the deletion logs.

As a MA, Blugo34 is doing part of his work, but at the same time his rude behavior and activities is not what this wiki currently needs as an Admin. We need someone who cleans up the community of old files, making the community easier to navigate, load and just cleaner looking. He may feel that he is doing that, but all he is doing is trying to make things all about him, or to boost how much he believes he is contributing by edit boosting.
Indeed he is active, but responsible and mature? His behavior shows me that he is not fit to be an MA, nor is he mature enough to act decently towards other users who contribute just as much, if not, more meaningful contributions. I am one of the three oldest (in age) members on this wiki and being talk to in such way is rather deplorable. He made me feel unwelcome at this community. He also made me feel that my contributions were not helpful in any way, shape, or form. He has displayed this sort of behavior before the MA position, in our own chat, and on other Wikis that has resulted in his blocking from those wikis.
I am asking that you consider what is best for the wiki and base your decision on what I have stated in this complaint. I thank you greatly in advance for looking over what I have to say and the evidence provided above.

So, you are trying to get me demoted, well, Feli said that we need high quality images and I overwritten your bad edited (truly bad edited) images. Also, everyone voted for me being an MA, Tavis said it because I made good contributons. Yes, I always do my job. I always clean up the Unused Files, rename some images to their proper style. I help alot of people with codes and in images. Also, your argument is pretty invalid and it did lack of sense because you are lying. As you can see, your post is really faulty and lacked of evidence. It's really depictable that you are just trying to get me demoted because I overwritten your ugly files. Hello. I am sincerely sorry if I offended or displeased anyone or even made someone crazed or demented. I wasn't apprehensive at that time. But still I can innovate or change. If you still give me one more chance to prove myself I am worthy to become an MA. I can convey that VKO doesn't really edit that much and Bunai is inactive. Also, I do not have incorrect grammar in my talk page. Still, even though I am not MA anymore, I will still contribute to this wiki. But I would be very elated if I am an MA. I also started deleting unused files and renaming some images to their proper format with help of Bunai's blog. It was a great wisdom and experience to become an MA. Hi Saber, well some users are requesting for floaters, sigs and especially the music templates. So I sometimes forget to put "Requested" in the summary. They usually request it in chat because they cannot really do it on their own. I hope you understand.
Please do. Users have been requesting blugo about floaters, templates, and help with codes. Even I was one of them. Since some users don't understand the codes, Blugo needs to go edit their pages. Not for his sake, but for them to feel happy. I know that feeling, sir. Please reconsider Blugo. He was only helping.

Well, I wouldn't say 7 months is "recent." And it was always in my knowledge that people could not edit others' user pages, even with "permission," because they may or may not be lying about that permission. I've always told people not to do it, even with permission.
I would, and it looks like you are less than six and a half months to me.

I, Blugo34, am requesting of becoming MA again in Adventure Time Wiki. I will do my best to maintain and innovate AT wiki. Simply by helping other users with sigs, floaters and MPC's. Renaming images per Bunai's blog. Reverting vandalism. Reuploading images to a better file version. Fixing broken file links. Organizing details or trivia. Inspring other users. I promise that I would be much more nicer and approachable to other admins and everyone else. I will always try my best to cope. Thank You.
Slight edit on this one. Honestly, with as much work and stuff that I need to do, I wouldn't be upset if you just demoted me. I know the wiki needs maintenace admins and all that jazz but I honestly don't know if I can even do what I need to do to be one at this point.

Saber, could ya at least clear something up for me? It has come to my attention that Bunai82 has not been active for a while. I understand her computer requires attention for repairs and whatnot, but how is it fair that she is allowed to maintain her maintenance position over a long period of time? Just checked an no it seems you only got to the C's, not too far but hey just know that all character articles now have the gender listed as their sex regardless of what it says in the template, so no worries, forum decision has been fixed, no need to bother yourself with further countless edits that now will appear to change nothing as far as the viewer is concerned.

I must have missed this. The script I have for adding text to a large number of pages requires all the pages to be in the same category. I don't think I can apply it to a certain namespace. Is there a way to add a category to every article talk page, maybe via the .css or .js pages?

Please remember to sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~). She is not going to be unbanned until her block length has expired. I had already given her a very stern warning, and then she went on to swear at least 6 more times within a few weeks. That's more than enough to block her. She will not be unblocked early.
Wow. A month? That is a bit too HARSH. Also, I would like to point out that Wikiboy was only blocked for a week, even though he made so much destruction and annoyance onto this wiki. It is a rather bit unfair for her block. Just because of swearing, you get a month. Also, it is stated that you should be warned multiple times then a block per the "Block Template." Marcaline only got one warning and then she got blocked after that. Just because of comments that states the truth and not cause chaos. It's rather unfair for her, I know Marcaline, she doesn't intend to cause chaos/riots in blogs. I am writing this because I see that it is biased and unjustifiable. Not being a mod or admin I don't know much about block and ban time lengths, but being on the wiki for a long time I have noticed many users getting blocked for swearing for a week or two. But a month, that is a little bit excessive. Pointing out one person, Wikiboy created choas all around the wiki for months and he only got blocked for a week. Knowing Marcaline and talking to her she is a very, very sweet user and would help out anybody, defend anybody, even if it ment she would get hurt in the end. I don't think she ment anything when she sweared, she was defending herself. She didn't cause any destruction like Wikiboy did. so as I "dig up" I found a law for admins that is stated:
Blocks of 1 to 4 weeks for more persistent violations and/or serious violations.
Blocks of 1 or more months for numerous, persistent violations and/or very serious violations.
However I dont know if personal attacks and Curssing is a Serious Violation but if not she should really be blocked for about 1 --> 3 weeks but if it is considered She really deserved the 1 month block.However it is still on Saber's decision whether to continue the block as it is or to uplift the block to at least a week.

Hey Saber, I just noticed that Sky deleted my photos for the Lich (episode) and uploaded duplicates of it, I mean they are all the same. And he can just rename the photos I uploaded. It's rather unfair for me because it's so hard to upload such things, it takes minutes for it. I think Sky is just doing it for his edit count.

Can you created the /Sig page because your current signature substitutes in your entire code of that signature, meaning that it takes up massive heaps of textual lines when inserted. Please update your Custom signature to SUBST your new /Sig page, so that wherever you leave your signature it'll only have the short {{YourName/Signature}} code instead of the entire thing. :) Keeps the page's code clean. I primarily use monobook too, and I found adding "?useskin=wikia" into the URL every time I needed to view something in Oasis, was pretty annoying, which is why I added the tabs. I got the code from here. I simply added the code to MediaWiki:Common.js. I hope I answered your question.

I left a message on the Flame Princess page regarding her being in the Main Character section, but no one has answered, and I was just wondering why she is even in that category. She has barely been in any episodes, if any character should be put in there it should be Peppermint Butler, I mean, he's has plenty of appearances, even Cinnamon Bun had more than Flame Princess. I just ask if there is any official announcement of her being a main character, but if not, I think she should be removed from it. Also, she is in both of the Main and Minor Characters sections. I am terribly sorry, but I read the ending of the Adventure Time Wiki:Administrators page and i read this part : "Administrator powers should be used to help keep the wiki clear of vandalism, spam, and users who make malicious edits, but not for simple disagreements between users acting in good faith." Just for saying, is the chat moderator supposed to warn or just kick or ban instantly. Anyways, it didn't bother anyone but FTGH and I didnt get it why. Every time the chatters have fun in the chat room, it always has to be interfered by FTGH or others, I suppose. I guess the fact that I used caps was annoying, but the usage of other languages wasnt stated in the rule. And by the way, i wasn't warned many times, but once about the language change and so for the caps.

I want to talk to you about a few things. Firstly VKO was only repromoted as Mod. He will not get his admin rights back since you demoted him. Sparda is heading the chat again and we decided to give him another shot. I hope that's okay with you. Also, we've been getting quite a build-up of unused files. RoseSweets has offered to help out with that. As you might also know, FTHG recently started trouble at MLP wiki. We want to watch all three of them very closely for the time being. Nowadays, most our users are just little kids coming here to have fun at chat. It's been causing the wiki to be quite unorganized. Ins has been put in charge of fixing pages. He does not have any additional rights, however. Also, because there are so many kids, it's been harder to find competent users for admins. Many users have disappeared claiming that there has been an increase of...lets just say, not so smart people joining the wiki. Heartfeltprodigy is suspected of being a sock of ColdSurrender. Sparda wants to ask wikia for IP check rights and wants to get our permission. Also, watch out for Blaughum. He was blocked with multiple offenses: for cussing, intimidating behaviour, and sock puppet. I'm not sure if Sparda is going to keep him out of chat or not, so we got to stay alert. Also, SilverCrono, and Cornprone has been inactive. Sparda is currently seeing if Crono wants to continue being crat. If not, that would make space for others to have opportunities to move up. I'm thinking Sparda would be a good candidate for crat, but it will be a while before that happens; we have to see how he performs, but he has been really helpful. Also, back to the FTHS topic. After the incident, she wanted to step down as admin. I'm still debating what to do. I was thinking that Ins could take his place. Ins is a very hard worker and good wikia contributor. However, he's been busy lately, so if that's the case, we'll have to see his performance over a span of time.

Sadly, I have noticed an increase in vandals around this wiki and it is very disappointing. I feel as if I should do something about this. I have tried messaging Admins, such as yourself, about these vandals, but I can't help but feel that this not an effective way of suppressing this growing problem. This is why I have messaged you. I have seen every Adventure Time episode more than once and I am very familiar with the show.

I am constantly trying to improve pages, by both correcting errors and adding more information.
I am well aware of the rules of AT wiki.
I only use Source mode when editing a page.
Most of all, though, I want everyone to have fun and enjoy the wealth of information that AT wiki has to offer.
In conclusion, the reason I want to become an Admin is to help Adventure Time wiki to grow and blossom and to become a wiki that everyone will enjoy.
